It’s a bit late to “go breaking” on this… but I do have some important news to pass on.

I have ended my time at dpa and moved back to the ABC. It was a great experience at Germany’s biggest newswire and I learned a lot about editorial judgement, working with correspondents and fact-checking. I’m very thankful to the small but competent team there at Rhodes.

Now I’m back at the TV News Channel at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in the Sydney suburb of Ultimo. It’s good to be covering Australian stories again and to be producing something that resonates strongly with local viewers. The daily feedback phone calls from members of the public are always informative.

In my new role, I’m spreading my time between general news production and sports presenting. The only downside of that is having to hang out with Kathryn Robinson. Just kidding.
