Hi … and thanks for finding your way to my page. My name is André Leslie and I’m a freelance, multimedia journalist currently living in Sydney.

Having worked in both Europe and Australia, I have over 10 years of top level experience in video, radio and online journalism. I’ve worked in breaking news, culture and the arts, environment and human rights, and plenty of other areas too. I’m always curious to pursue new stories and topic areas.

But, sport is my passion and reporting about it comes very naturally. I believe I can tell sports stories from a unique perspective, having played cricket at an international level myself for many years. I have worked as a sports presenter for German broadcaster Deutsche Welle and as a sports correspondent for the ABC and Radio NZ. I’ve also worked as a cricket commentator for over five years for Eurosport.
